Vietjoによると、「4月27日以降の第4波の市中感染者は49省・市の計1万3055人となり、27日に1万2000人を超えてから2日間で+1000人以上増加した。29日午後の発表時点でベトナム国内の新型コロナ累計感染者数は1万6413人、死者数は78人となっている。」

6/29時点でホーチミンのコロナの感染者が3,589人となり、ベトナム南部でもコロナの感染者がどんどん増えているが、ベトナムのコロナの死者は相変わらず78人と少ない。

ホーチミンではコロナの感染者急増により6/29から隔離措置や外出自粛他が厳しくなった。日本もベトナムのように隔離措置や外出自粛他に罰金を科すことで感染者を抑制することができる。
